Fallyn McLeod
Student Midwife | Doula
Fallyn McLeod THW,
(She/her) | Student Midwife, THW Doula
Raised on a small island off the coast of British Columbia, Fallyn is a lover of the wild places of the world, as well as the wild places within.
She began her midwifery studies in 2011, taking a long and winding road that landed her in an official apprenticeship with Southern Oregon Midwifery in 2025.
That winding road has been full of studying herbal medicine, several birth and postpartum doula trainings, touring the country running summer camps for adults, growing and birthing her three babies at home, and a move to Southern Oregon in 2020 to finish a clinical herbalist program through Vital Ways School in Portland Oregon (with a focus on women’s health and fertility). She is a student midwife, as well as a THW doula.
Outside of birthwork, Fallyn is watching her kids grow up in an off-grid cabin in the foothills of the Cascade-Siskiyou mountains. She loves to write songs, keep animals and gardens, explore the woods with her dog, and is an easily excited, loud-laughing, lover of learning, eating, dancing, and lying in the morning Sun.
The good stuff
Fallyn is a deep-feeling creature with a Scorpio Sun and a Leo Moon. Crunchy mom on the outside, punk rock clown at heart. An extroverted hermit who enjoys equal parts intelligence and wit.
Sincerity and humor. She loves a good morning drink and the endless pursuit of knowledge.
